SgtMaj Wayne Bell USMC (Ret.) and his wife Crystal Bell lost their battles against cancer in August 2022. In honor of their selfless service to our country, their friends, colleagues, and fellow Marines have partnered with the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation to establish a scholarship in their memories to honor their legacies.
From this special fund, scholarships will be awarded annually to the children of Marines and Navy Corpsmen as they pursue their dreams of higher education. The legacies of SgtMaj Bell and Crystal will live on with each of these students. Much like SgtMaj Bell taught many young Marines, this memorial scholarship will enable children raised on Honor, Courage, and Commitment to grow and become successful by obtaining post-secondary education.
