Sarah Tonizzo joined the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation in 2022 and currently serves as Chief Financial and Operating Officer. She has nearly thirty years of accounting and finance experience—most recently serving as Chief Financial Officer for the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation, where she led a full redesign of the organization’s financial infrastructure.

In her role at MCSF, Sarah oversees finance and operations, including financial reporting, audit and tax compliance, budgeting, investments, and organizational strategy. She focuses on aligning financial and operational capabilities to support the Foundation’s long-term growth and mission impact.

Sarah holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Minnesota State University, Mankato and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas. She lives in Herndon with her husband, Roberto.
