Corporal Marler Memorial Golf Tournament

The 9th Annual Corporal Donald M. Marler USMC Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament will be held on 10 October 2025 at Crescent Farms Golf Course.  The net proceeds will benefit the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation and the Corporal Donald M. Marler USMC Memorial Scholarship.

Corporal Marler was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California. Corporal Marler died June 6, 2010 while supporting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. Also killed were Sgt. Brandon C. Bury and Lance Cpl. Derek Hernandez.
