Cpl Marler Memorial Golf Tournament

September 11

The 3rd Annual Corporal Donald M. Marler USMC Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament will be held on September 11, 2020.  The net proceeds will benefit the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation and the Corporal Donald M. Marler USMC Memorial Scholarship.

Corporal Marler was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California. Corporal Marler died June 6, 2010 while supporting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. Also killed were Sgt. Brandon C. Bury and Lance Cpl. Derek Hernandez.

Platoon – $1,450

  • Headline sponsor for tournament which includes Freedom Package and Logo on Banner
  • (1) Foursome – 18 holes with cart, beer/refreshments, exclusive golfer gift, lunch, and dinner

Freedom Package – $900

  • Provides the same benefits as a foursome, but allows golfers to pre-pay for all cash contests
  • Cash is still accepted on the day of the tournament, but pre-paying allows golfers to take advantage of the tax write-off
  • Save $40

Foursome – $700

  • (1) Foursome – 18 holes with cart, beer/refreshments, exclusive golfer gift, lunch, and dinner

Single Player – $175

  • Includes beer/refreshments, exclusive golfer gift, lunch, and dinner
