Granite Mountain Hotshots Honorary Scholarship

It is an honor to announce that the Scholarship Foundation is launching a campaign to establish three Honorary Scholarships in memory of Hotshots Jesse SteedTravis Turbyfill and William Warneke, US Marine Corps veterans, who lost their lives in the Yarnell Hill Fire in 2013. 80 Years, 80 Miles in His Honor

Eighty years ago, on June 26, 1944, Sergeant Richard Herman Young, “B” Company, 1st Battalion, 23rd Marines, 4th Marine Division, was killed in action in Saipan during World War II. Now his son, Hal, who is 90 years old, is walking 80 miles in his father's honor.
