Deborah G. Carstens (AZ)

Deborah Carstens is a Scholarship Foundation campaign cabinet member, an Arizona Scarlet & Gold committee member and a member of the Rockmore Society. She is the widow of a veteran Marine who remained active thru out his life with his Basic School 2-56 colleagues. Deborah retired from a real estate career in 2000, which began in her hometown of San Diego, California and culminated handling sales and marketing of the Carstens’ land development projects near Telluride, Colorado.  Deb splits her time between Paradise Valley, Arizona and Washington DC.  Managing Carstens Family Funds, which is active in three states, fulfills her philanthropic endeavors. The Funds’ focus is youth, education, and character-building. Deborah has traveled to all seven continents and lived in Geneva, Switzerland for three years.  Her daughter, Lindsay and two granddaughters bring particular joy.
