Honoring Marines by educating their children

You may honor Tom’s memory by donating to the Agnew Family Scholarship

A dedicated Marine veteran and longtime supporter of the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation, Tom Agnew died on July 22, 2011 near his home in Paoli, Pennsylvania.

Tom actively led many fundraising events in the greater Philadelphia area for the Scholarship Foundation, including acting as the Founder and Executive Director of the Marines “Fore” Scholarship Golf Tournament in Paoli, PA and the Fundraising Chairman of the Philadelphia Scholarship Ball.

In the last 25 years, Tom worked with many dedicated donors and volunteers from Philadelphia and their efforts directly resulted in raising over $5,500,000 for deserving children of Marines. The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation extends it deepest sympathies to Tom’s wife, Maryanna, his daughters, Elizabeth and Caroline, his grandson Connor, and all his friends and loved ones.   His only son, LCpl Tom Agnew, Jr USMC, was tragically killed while serving his country in 1985.
