James D. King (IL)
Jim King is owner of Five Crowns Capital, an entrepreneurial real estate investment and development firm. He founded the firm in 2002 after retiring from RREEF, a full-service national real estate investment advisory firm with $20 billion of real estate under management in the United States. Jim was a partner at RREEF for nineteen years and was the principal-in-charge of the acquisition and development departments, as well as serving on the firm's policy and investment committees. Prior to RREEF, he was a partner with LaSalle Partners Inc. and Coldwell Banker.
Jim flew 210 missions in Vietnam in the A-6 Intruder as a Marine aviator. He and his wife, Suzanne, reside in Winnetka, IL, and have three children and four grandchildren.
