Marine Corps Marathon
The 35th Annual Marine Corps Marathon will be held on October 31, 2010. The race is set to start at 8:00 am on Route 110 in Arlington, VA, and will culminate at the Marine Corps War Memorial in Washington, DC. Voted "Best Marathon for Families," the Marine Corps Marathon continues to combine traditions of dedication, sportsmanship and patriotism.
In 2009, more than 21,000 runners participated in the 26.2 mile race, which winds its way through the Nation's Capitol. Runners from all walks of life have participated in this marathon, which is known as the "The People's Marathon."
